Hemisphere Partners is proud to have served as the exclusive M&A advisor to Teachally in its acquisition by McGraw Hill (NYSE: MH), a leading global provider of education solutions for preK-12, higher education and professional learning.
This transaction brings Teachally’s AI-powered curriculum and instruction platform, which generates standards-aligned lessons, assessments and enrichment materials across all fifty states’ standards, into McGraw Hill’s K-12 portfolio, where it will accelerate curriculum development and put time-saving AI tools in front of teachers inside the products they already use and trust.
This one is close to home. Teachally was co-founded by Daniel Bernstein, Managing Partner of Hemisphere Partners, together with CTO Rushil Makkar, and built over six years by a deliberately small team.
Both founders join McGraw Hill with the transaction, where the Teachally team will continue building toward the same goal it started with: better outcomes for students and easier lives for teachers, now at the scale of one of education’s most trusted names.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Congratulations to the Teachally team, and to McGraw Hill for its commitment to AI that serves the teacher.
